
Jeff served in vocational ministry for many years before entering the criminal justice field. He has worked at Florida State Prison (Raiford) on Death Row and with the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office as a Classification Deputy. Jeff is a certified private investigator and frequently testifies as an expert witness in the areas of post-release supervision, inmate classification, and prison and jail procedures. For the past several years, he has served as part-time faculty in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of North Florida. He holds a Divinity degree from The Baptist University of Florida, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a concentration in Applied Ethics from the University of North Florida, and a Master of Public Administration from American Public University’s School of Security and Global Studies. In 2022, he published What Works in Transition & Reentry: A Christian Guide to Reducing Recidivism and Victimization (ISBN 1685561136).
